AMS 2750 COMPLIANT TEMPERATURE UNIFORMITY SURVEYS
Illiana has extensive experience in performing surveys on batch-type and continuous furnaces per Aerospace Material Specification AMS-2750G. Our highly trained technicians have years of experience performing temperature uniformity surveys on a wide variety of equipment. We can work with you to give you a thermal profile of almost any process.
We use state-of-the-art multipoint recorders or dataloggers that provide both written records and computerized numeric data of all survey results. All our measurements are NIST traceable. We are accredited by A2LA to ISO-17025. At the conclusion of the survey, customers are provided with a professional report of the survey findings, plus paper and electronic copies of the furnace data to facilitate any further analysis.
BATCH FURNACES
We routinely survey batch furnaces in a wide range of shapes and sizes. We survey everything from small tabletop test lab ovens up to huge car bottom ovens. We typically use a minimum of nine temperature sensors on each survey. For larger ovens, we use up to 40 sensors to comply with Aerospace Material Specification AMS-2750G, as defined by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
CONTINUOUS FURNACES
Continuous furnaces always present unique challenges. We have performed surveys on small ovens only 20 or 30 feet long, as well as large ovens over 200 feet long. Carburizing, carbon nitriding, annealing, and stress relief type ovens are among the many types with which we have experience.
