 A
local customer asked Illiana to add horns and lights to stock
Honeywell DR4500 circular chart recorders to help monitor alarm
conditions and provide a system for resetting alarms.
- In the event of an alarm condition, the light and horn of
the Federal Signal alarm (mounted on top of the recorder) both
activate.
- To silence the horn, the operator presses a button that has
been mounted on the chart platen.
- The light shuts off and the alarm system resets itself when
the alarm condition clears.
All recorders were fully tested prior to shipment.
 For
future installations, a variety of horns and colored lights are
